Kana electromechs supplies series mvc 401 [4-wire type] signal converters. These are electronic devices specially developed to convert various electrical parameters into ma or voltage signals of standard levels. The parameters generally encountered are ac/dc voltages, ac/dc currents, speed, variable resistance, active power [kw], reactive power [kvar], power factor, line frequency, etc. The outputs normally required are current signals of either 4-20 ma or 0-20 ma level or voltage signals of 0-10 v dc or 1-5 v dc level. The applications of current signal output are for transmission of the signal from the field to the remotely located ccr or vice versa, for the purpose of indication, control, data logging, data processing, etc. Units with single/double/triple outputs are also available either in compact thermoplastic enclosures suitable for din rail mounting or in powder coated, cast aluminium enclosures with ip-55/ip-65 grade of protection.
